Confidence in her eyes!

£0.00

Patient's Initial Concern:

  • The patient was unhappy with her old bridge, which had undergone several repairs using veneers and repairs of the bridge.

  • The bridge spanned from canine to canine.

Treatment Considerations:

  • There was a risk that the teeth beneath the old restorations (crowns, veneers, or bridges) might be unrepairable.

  • The patient displayed patience and a willingness to embrace the risks associated with potential dental work.

Treatment Process:

  • Lower Teeth Whitening: The treatment began with teeth whitening for the lower teeth, which improved their color and brightness.

  • Replacement of Upper Teeth: The old bridge on the upper teeth was replaced with a new, long-span bridge. This  involved taking impressions and crafting custom dental restorations to replace the old ones.

  • Prep less Veneers: To address the narrow arch behind the bridge, two prepless veneers were added to the premolars without altering the teeth below them , just to bring them out a little. Prep less veneers are a conservative option for improving the appearance of teeth without significant enamel removal.

Outcome:

  • The result of the treatment was described as creating a "more harmonious smile."

  • The addition of prep less veneers effectively expanded the arch without altering the natural teeth.

  • The patient was "genuinely delighted" with the results, suggesting that her expectations were met, and you, as the dentist, were also pleased with the outcome.

This case demonstrates the successful transformation of the patient's smile through the replacement of an old bridge and the addition of prep less veneers, all while taking into consideration the patient's willingness to embrace potential risks associated with the treatment. The focus was on achieving a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing smile.
